Hoa Nhon Commune has recently been recognized by the DaNang People’s Committee as a new rural area. It is focusing this year on promoting its production activities in order to boost the development of the locality. The Healthyfarm is the project sponsored by ADB (Asian Development Bank) and Danang People’s Committee. However, since the location of next to a river, only within 01 year, 03 meter of land has been lost due to erosion and landslides. Flooding water washes the fertile topsoil away and leaves mud and garbage on the vegetable garden.

Seeing that situation, VNVN cooperated with the local government to carry out planting Vetiver on 100-meter riverbank.

Vetiver grows after 1 and 2 months. As the topsoil was washed away during previous floods already, Vetiver is not provided enough fertility to grow well on first days

After 4 months, with good caring (fertilizing, weeding, and trimming), Vetiver has well established
