At Laguna Hue resort, investors set strict requirements in terms of ecology and landscape. The combination of vetiver and concrete system once again proved its effection in protecting slopes at Laguna Hue resort.

Instead of the concrete, Vetiver was used in combination with the “soil nail” to reinforce the slopes. Because the slope faces the sea, it is considerably affected by wind and sunlight. To overcome the dehydration of grass, we designed a drip irrigation system to make sure the grass growth. Following the success at Laguna Hue resort, Vetiver Colombian Network applied this measure in Colombia and achieved positive results.
